Southwestern Youth Services is a private, non-profit, state-licensed youth service agency providing comprehensive community-based programs for children, youth and families. More than 25 employees, assisted by more than 50 volunteers, provide 35 support services and programs for nearly 12,000 individuals a year. These services include residential, counseling, education advocacy, health, prevention and recreational activities.

Established 16 years ago by Dick and Dorothy Maffry, today Southwestern Youth Services is a dynamic, thriving youth service agency that meets the needs of children, youth, and families in Jackson, Harmon, Greer and Kiowa counties.
Southwestern Youth Services relies on support from private individuals, churches, service clubs, foundations, state, county and federal contracts, and the United Way.
