Transitional Living Program
Southwestern Youth Services is proud of our first applicant to the Transitional Living Program. Antonio Jones graduated from Basic Training in San Antonio Texas in May. He was accepted to and graduated from Technical Training School in Wichita Falls, TX as a Psychiatric Technician. He will be stationed at Pope AFB, NC. This young man is in the process of realizing his dream and to work in the field of counseling.

Emergency Shelter
Serving babies is a different world for shelter workers. Infants and toddlers have been admitted to the shelter for emergency residential care for year and we have had to alter our approach to accommodate our tiny visitors in order to provide age appropriate care and activities. One room has been designated for them and toys have added a playful touch to our shelter atmosphere.
